He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Epson and Anna Epson; his aunt Mary; his uncle Anthony Lovitch; his siblings, Frank Epson, Robert Epson, Lois Ann Saysoff and Betty Aguilar; his wife Sandy; and his children, Robert Long (Mike) and Rebecca Edwards.

He is survived by: his son Scott Anthony Epson (Sarah); and his grandchildren, Maizie Peden, Justin Edwards, Derrick Epson and Jake Edwards.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home (340 N 6th St, Kansas City, KS 66101-3350). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1150 N 38th St, Kansas City, KS 66102).

“Clarence’s presence is already missed, most days around noon or 1 he would be waiting out side my office in hurry to speak to me about something. He would turn his professional hat on and interrupt whatever was happening saying “I’m sorry but this is urgent” Will miss him at the table with his coffee and newspaper and morning walks. Thank you for allowing us to care for him.”
