He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Rae Masterson; and his parents, Robert Masterson and Catherine Masterson. He is survived by: his children, Robert Masterson (Pam), Charles Masterson (Pam), Betsy Schupp (Darrell) and David Masterson (Kim). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish (555 W Main St, Gardner, KS 66030). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Olathe Health Hospice.
