Though Richard Delano may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard Delano touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Parks and Lelia Parks; and his siblings, Bob Parks and Mildred Shivers. He is survived by: his sons, Stanley Parks of Kansas City and Kenneth Parks; and his brother George Parks (Donna) of Denver, Colorado.. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Robson Funeral Home - Garden City (620 N Main St, Garden City, KS 67846). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cornerstone Church (2901 N 8th St, Garden City, KS 67846).
Richard Delano Parks will be remembered for his contributions to his community, his devotion to his family, and his unwavering faith.
