He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Germann and Mae Germann (Surprenant); his stepmother Adeline Garmann; his son Darin Germann; his son-in-law Mike Bradstreet; his granddaughter Caroline Germann; his parents-in-law, Howard and Esther Wade; his siblings, Don (Joan Germann), Duane Germann, Dee Germann and Elizabeth (Glenn Meredith); and his sister-in-law Delores Germann.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Germann; his children, Dennis (Sherry Germann) of Salem, IN, Debbie Bradstreet of Goddard, KS, David (Vicki Germann) of Garden City, KS and Doug (Janice Germann) of Georgetown, TX; his brother Ed (Janet Germann) of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Evan (Jenny Germann), Lexi Germann, Hanna Brown, Dustin (Kelly Bradstreet), Derrick (Molly Bradstreet), Scott (Alaina Germann), Clayton Holub, Amanda (David Donahoe), Megan (Kyle Miller) and Mitchell Germann; and his great grandchildren, Matilda Germann, Thatcher Germann, Dominick Coleman, Malik Coleman, Lanie Sanders, Colt Bradstreet, Coy Bradstreet, Kynslee Holub and Caydence Ginther.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials given to the First United Methodist Church or to Methodist Youth Ville, both in care of the funeral home.
