He was predeceased by: his father Woodrow W. Fanning. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Faye Fanning (McKinney) of Ulysses; his wife DeDee Carlock; his children, Dusty Fanning (Nicole) of Sublette, Brandy Yount (Justin) of Garden City, Woodrow Fanning (Abby) of Sublette, Nicole Webb (Phillip) of El Dorado and Lee Foreman (Donna) of McPherson; and his siblings, Kathy Swank of Topeka, Richard Fanning (Glenna) of Coats, Kansas and Pam Hall (Kent) of Arizona. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lakin Cemetery (1716 US-50, Lakin, KS 67860).
