He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucio Salcedo and Maria Salcedo (Rodriguez); his daughter Patricia Martinez; and his siblings, Mercedez Salcedo Gonzales, Matilde Salcedo and Esteban Salcedo.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Gutierrez Salcedo; his daughters, Cruz Jacqueline Martinez and Susan Hill; his grandchildren, Alberto, Humberto, Joshua Alexis, Jose Antonio, Daisy Janet, Samuel and Isaiah; his great grandchildren, Audrey Dahlia, Fabian Martin and Santiago; and his siblings, Juan Salcedo, Jose Luis Salcedo, Cruz Salcedo and Blandina Salcedo. He is also survived by numerous other cousins and friends.
