He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Porfirio Torres Brillanti and Clementina Lopez Silva; his wife Maria Roberta Ojeda Rodriguez; his children, Silvia Torres, Juan Arturo Torres (Laurentina), Jose Alfredo Torres (Blanca), Jorge Alberto Torres (Maria Elena), Martha Elena Torres (Oscar) and Maricela Meraz (Adrian); his sisters, Maria Torres and Josefina Torres; and his niece Norma. He was also cherished by 20 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Home (412 N 7th St, Garden City, KS 67846). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (510 N 12th St, Garden City, KS 67846). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Home (412 N 7th St, Garden City, KS 67846).
