He was predeceased by: his parents, John Horning and Ludwina Horning (Kreutzer); his brothers, Leroy, Julius, Dennis, Alex and Jerry Horning; and his son-in-law Bob Hester.
He is survived by: his spouse Agnella Horning (Knoll); his stepchildren, Barbara Hester of Garden City, Keith Horning of Sachse, David Horning of Garden City, Paul Horning of Lucas and Duane Horning of Allen, Texas; his grandchildren, Shannon, Taylor, Ryan, Krystal, Nicholas and Jacobi; his great grandchildren, John Ryan and Clark; and his siblings, Sylvia Knoll of Deerfield and Cleatus Horning of Lake Havasu, Arizona..
