He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Adam and Catherine Bayer (Becker); his wife Vivian Marie Meier; and his siblings, Joe Bayer, Lawrence Bayer, Aloysius Bayer, Albert Bayer, Regina Bayer, Clara Bayer, Helen Gahlen, Sr., Carolyn Ann Bayer, Pauline Hahn, Alice Tatro and Lucy Danler.
He is survived by: his brother Leo (Julie Bayer) of Mesquite. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Home (412 N 7th St, Garden City, KS 67846). A rosary was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (510 N 12th St, Garden City, KS 67846). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
