Gilbert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Lucero Sr. and Pauline Lucero; and his daughter Josephine Lucero. He is survived by: his children, Chris Lucero, Candida Lucero Vaca, Lonnie Lucero, Sammy Lucero, Monica Lucero, Nina Rosales, Michelle Lucero, Melinda Lucero, Mark Lucero, Josie Lucero and Adam Lucero; and his siblings, Raymond Lucero, Isabel Mondragon, Molly Mondragon, Mary Martinez, Frank Lucero, Johnny Lucero and Daniel Lucero. He is also survived by many Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cornerstone Church (2901 N 8th St, Garden City, KS 67846).
Family suggests memorial be given to Gilbert Lucero Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
