He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Rice and Alberta Stewart; and his sisters, Lucille, Clarabelle, Joan and Janet.
He is survived by: his wife Marianne Rice; his sons, Dennis Rice and Mike Rice; his stepdaughters, Deb Rowland, Denise Robinson and Annette Smith; and his siblings, Patti Avila and Johnny Rice. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren.
The family suggest memorials be given to Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
