He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cartmill and Evelyn Cartmill (Hartman); his sister Marilyn Lovelace; and his grandson Darron Harvey. He is survived by: his wife Billie Jean Cartmill (Towns); his children, Troy, Judy Cartmill (Rowland) of Garden City, KS, Brenda Cartmill of Yelm, WA, Monica (Cartmill), Nicholas Waechter of Lakin, KS, Kent, June Cartmill (Olson) of Yelm, WA and Amy Cartmill of Merriam, KS; his great grandchildren, Neil, Shai Lemmons (Cartmill), Elliot Lemmons, Anthony Washington, Aaliyah Jones, Ryan Cartmill, Ethan Cartmill, Samantha Cartmill, Stella Cartmill and Sophie Cartmill; and his siblings, Margaret Cartmill, Howard Cartmill, Harriet Vance (Cartmill) and Marcia Snodgrass (Cartmill).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Community Congregational Church (710 N 3rd St, Garden City, KS 67846).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Community Congregational Church, 701 N 3rd St., Garden City, KS.
