It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlene Kay Ball of Garden City, Kansas, who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Joseph and Lucetta Josephine "Peggy" Nail (Stevens); and her sister Norma Schiffelbein. She is survived by: her husband Darryl Ball; her daughters, Carla Shields, Brenda Johnson (Stanley) and Charie Triplett; her grandchildren, Brody Shields, Annelee Shields, Jessica Bunch (Carl) and Bryan Johnson; her great grandchildren, Shawn Bunch and Cheyenne Bunch; and her nieces, Cherie Baar and DeeDee Pothier.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Robson Funeral Home - Garden City (620 N Main St, Garden City, KS 67846). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Brethren (2710 Fleming St, Garden City, KS 67846). A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Valley View Cemetery (2901 N 8th St, Garden City, KS 67846).
Carlene Kay Ball will be remembered for her warmth, her love for her family, and her many contributions to the community that she held so dear.
