With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beverly Rose Metcalf of Garden City, Kansas, born in Rogers, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 23, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Matthews and Katherine Matthews; and her brother Frank A. Matthews. She is survived by: her husband Eldred William Metcalf (Bill) of Ulysses, Kansas; her sons, Gregory Metcalf of Olympia, Washington, Andrew William Metcalf and Martin Clark Metcalf (Terri) of Houston, Texas; her granddaughters, Mallory Davidson of Denton and Macy Watkins of Houston, Texas; and her siblings, Terry L. Matthews of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Glenda Pacheco of Spokane, Washington.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robson Funeral Home - Garden City (620 N Main St, Garden City, KS 67846). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lakin Cemetery (1716 US-50, Lakin, KS 67860).
Memorial has been established for Lakin Methodist Church in care of Robson Funeral Home, 620 N. Main St., Garden City, Kansas 67846.
