With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beverly Rose Metcalf of Garden City, Kansas, born in Rogers, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 23, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Matthews and Katherine Matthews; and her brother Frank A. Matthews. She is survived by: her husband Eldred William Metcalf (Bill) of Ulysses, Kansas; her sons, Gregory Metcalf of Olympia, Washington, Andrew William Metcalf and Martin Clark Metcalf (Terri) of Houston, Texas; her granddaughters, Mallory Davidson of Denton and Macy Watkins of Houston, Texas; and her siblings, Terry L. Matthews of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Glenda Pacheco of Spokane, Washington.
Memorial has been established for Lakin Methodist Church in care of Robson Funeral Home, 620 N. Main St., Garden City, Kansas 67846.
