She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Miles and Leah Elizabeth Martin (Litzenberger); her son Kevin Brungardt; her granddaughter Keisha Wright; and her siblings, Bud "Herman" Martin, Jr., Miles Martin, Sonny "Virgil" Martin, Marion Buell, Edith Snyder and Erma Martin.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas J. Brungardt; her children, Preston Martin (Toni) of Garden City, KS, Shelly Cott (Mike) of Springhill, KS, Karen Reinertson (Randy) of Elwood, NE, Karl Brungardt of Elwood, NE, Kyle Brungardt (Susan Miller) of Garden City, KS and Karol Brungardt of Cozad, NE; her brother Darrell Martin of Dighton, KS; and her grandchildren, Matt Bayer (Brooke), Trevor Martin, Kristin Bowden (Michael), Marshall Cott, Leah Cott, Amanda Perez, Tonya Claussen, Janessa Brungardt, Angela Evenson and Aaron Brungardt. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
