She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Huber and Maurine Huber (Angeles); her husband Steve Burgess; her daughter Tammie Burgess; and her brothers, Robert Huber and Louis Huber.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Stewart (Jacob) of Holcomb, Dianne Boyer of Garden City, Suzanne Kirmer of Garden City and Cristena Staley of Garden City; her siblings, Palla Lang (Kenny) of Garden City, Pam Kemp (Phillip) of Leawood, John Huber of Garden City and Terry Huber of Garden City; and her grandchildren, Lexi Blackburn, Peyton Blackburn of Garden City and Kolby Blackburn of Lawrence.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Home (412 N 7th St, Garden City, KS 67846). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions to The Burgess Scholarship at Garden City Community College.
