It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert G. Hoppes of Galva, Kansas, born in Longton, Kansas, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan T. Hoppes and Agnes B. Hoppes (McConnell); and his siblings, Dalbert Hoppes and Norma Donovan. He is survived by: his wife Lois Elaine Partington; his sons, Robert, Jr. Hoppes (Debbie) of Land, Danny Hoppes (Teresa) of Inverness, FL and Jeff Hoppes of Galva, KS; and his sister Carol Brooks of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to the Shriners Hospitals for Children in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
