Vernon Jordan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2024, at the age of 87, Vernon Jordan of Galena, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Oscar Jordan and Helen Maxine Jordan (Chew); his wife Evelyn "Sue" Jordan; and his son-in-law Jerry Riedinger. He is survived by: his children, Peggy Riedinger of Bellevue, WA, Michael Jordan (Diane) of Topeka, KS and David Jordan (Kendra) of Welch, OK; his grandchildren, Chris, Ross, Caleb, Stephen, Brenton, Carissa, Alicia and Coleman; and his siblings, Mary Hayes (Lyman) of Joplin, MO and Stephen Jordan (Cindy) of Joplin. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
