It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven L Morey in Galena, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Morey and Dorothy Morey (Moore); his stepmother Vivian Jones; and his brother Kenneth Morey. He is survived by: his sisters, Roseanne Peters and Janell Morey; his aunts, Mary Ellen Jones of Springfield, MO and Ruby Saenze of Miami, OK; his sister-in-law Gail Morey of Titusville, FL; his nephews, Kyle Morey, Matthew (Johnnia), Jesse and Adam Wammack (Brittany); his niece Tamada Morey; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sarayea Morey, Maycee Adams, Violet Morey, Autumn, Mattilyn, Kaylee, Savannah Wammach, Adam, Andrew Wammack and Wrigley Wammack; his cousin Frank Osborne of Tulsa, OK; his close friend Karen Diedrich of Summerville, SC; his great-nephew Steven "Pappa"; and also, Cheryl Mitchell and Bobby Mitchell.
