He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bill, Maxine Poteet and Richard Mallatt Sr. (Dobs); his stepfather Roy Hopkins; his stepsister Christi Shaw; and his pet Snickers.
He is survived by: his parents, Richard Mallatt Jr. (Connie) and Reva Kay Hopkins (Baxter Springs); his grandmother Ella Rae Mallatt; his siblings, Will Mallatt (Alicia) and Tiffani Schremmer Meier (Martin) of Lantana, TX; his cousin Peyton Westmoreland (John); his friends, Sandy and Chuck Eichhorn of Joplin, MO; his stepsiblings, Teresa Mercer (David), John Shaw (Josie) and Belinda Jasmine (Jay); his half-sister Jessica Ashe; and his nieces and nephews, John Mallatt (Leah), Shiloh, Emmy (Riverton), Dakotah Noble (Mike), August (Pittsburg), MacKenzie, Macey, Maddie Ashe (Baxter Springs), Caleb and Kennedy Meier of Lantana, TX.
