He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew "Scotty" M. Boyes and Eliza Boyes (Ritchie); his wife Colleen Boyes (Swain); and his son David Boyes. He is survived by: his son Darrell Boyes (Darlene) of Galena; and his grandchildren, Justin Boyes (Shanna) of Galena, Jarrett Boyes (Jaime) of Galena, Melanie Rhinehart (Brandon) of Edmond, OK, Marla England (Dale) of Neosho, MO, Colby Boyes (Shannon) of Carl Junction, MO, Davin Boyes (Kelli) of Independence, MO, Andy Boyes (Breanna) of Joplin, MO and Jessica Hudson of Branson, MO. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either First Baptist Church of Galena or the Galena Education Foundation (GEF) Scholarship Fund in care of the funeral home.
