She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Orville Eckhardt and Margaret Eckhardt (Arnold); her children, Buddy Joe Jessee (Janet) of Tulsa, OK, Richard Wayne Jessee (Patty) of Columbus, KS, David Brent Jessee (Karin) of Galena, KS, Janice Sue Kane (Michael) of Lees Summit, MO and Marcia Ann Beggs of Columbus, KS; and her brother Virgil Eckhardt of Rogers, AR.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be given to Avalon Hospice, and may be left in care of the funeral home.
