He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sam Adkins and Blanche Adkins; his brother Donnie Adkins; his wife Denise Bowen (Church); his children, Lawrence Adkins II of Arma, KS, Jason Dale Adkins, Kimberly Wilson of Salem, MO and Leora Ramirez; his stepchildren, Chrystal Slatter, Jeffery Bowen, Dustin Bowen and Jason Bowin; and his siblings, Sam Adkins, Mary Collins of Grandview, MO and Eunice Luckenbill. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
