He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Franklin and Rita Myrle Savage (Willis); and his brother Ed Savage. He is survived by: his spouse Joan Hays; his children, Joseph F. Savage of Ottawa and Kenneth D. Savage of Hammond; and his brothers, Raymond Joe Savage of Fort Scott and Franklin Savage of Rantool. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
