With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilma Jean Smardo of Frontenac, Kansas, who passed away on January 24, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Goldie Cameron; her husband Paul Smardo; and her father Homer Bough. She is survived by: her children, Steven J. Smardo (Judy) of Frontenac, KS, Paul A. Smardo (Kathy) of Holland, MI, James K. Smardo (Charlotte) of Kansas City, MO and Mary C. Lollar (Bill) of Frontenac, KS; her grandchildren, Jill Stanhope (Steve), Jodi Bennett (Trey), Jason Clarkson (Megan), Jessilyn Clarkson, Chelsey Slee (Prescott), Peter Smardo, Charlie Smardo, Maggie Smardo, Keith Lollar (Jen) and Joe Lollar; and her great grandchildren, Paige, Weston, Taylor, Piper, Easton, Henry, Anthony, Baylor, Dylan and Harper.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to the Sacred Heart Building or Cemetery Funds.
