He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kunshek and Julia Kunshek (Verardi). He is survived by: his wife Betty Papish; his sons, Scott Kunshek (Kendra) of Frontenac, KS and Brett Kunshek (Amber) of Overland Park, KS; his grandchildren, Baron, Strauss, Piper, Duncan and Poppy; and his sister Judith Cawthra (Art).
A rosary was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (100 S Cherokee St, Frontenac, KS 66763). Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials to the Sacred Heart Building Fund or the Frontenac Quarterback Club.
