She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Kumer and Lucy Legat Kumer; her husband Robert Benard Sr.; and her brothers, Rudy, Charles and Joe Kumer.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Benard Jr. (Kathy) of Frontenac and Roberta Mohamed of Pittsburg; her grandson Steven Mohamed; her sister Frances Ryder of Frontenac; and her close friend Harry Strukel of Girard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made the Angels Among Us.
