It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Coomes of Frontenac, Kansas, born in Saint Paul, Kansas, who passed away on July 6, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Coomes and Cora Coomes (Brazil). He is survived by: his wife Martha Coomes; his children, James Joseph Coomes and Brenda Coomes-Amrein; his son-in-law John T. Amrein of Bonner Springs, KS.; and his grandchild Lauren Tracy.
