She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Loughry and Mary Helen Loughry (Vinson); and her husband Lloyd Clifford Lawson. She is survived by: her children, Roger Lawson (Sharon) of Pittsburg, Lola Nicola (Dorsey) of Hollidaysburg and Wanda Lawson of Titusville, Florida; her sister Mary Hamilton of Neosho; and her pet George. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the S.E.K Humane Society.
