He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Redd and Wanda Redd (Lea); and his brothers, Billy Redd and Ralph Redd. He is survived by: his children, Jason Redd (Amy) of Frontenac, KS and Christy Mitchell (Josh) of Frontenac, KS; his siblings, Dave Redd (Rita) of Lufkin, TX, Don Redd (Jackie) and Connie Anderson (Tim) of Radley, KS; and his grandchildren, Austin, Addison and Brynne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
