With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Birdie Nell Askins (Frontenac, Kansas), born in Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on December 9, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Theobald and Katheryn Theobald (Lewis); and her brother Paul Theobald. She is survived by: her husband Richard Burr; her sister Betty Jo Fiorucci of Overland Park, KS; her stepchildren, Sandy Post (Greg) of Mapleton, KS and Dr. Dale Askins (Dana) of Oklahoma City, OK; her nieces, Paula Fiorucci and Lisa Fiorucci; and her nephew Dana Fiorucci. She is also survived by four step-grandchildren, six step-great grandchildren and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
