He is survived by: his children, Beverly Buchanan of Fredonia, KS, Teresa Buchanan of Chanute, KS, Sandra Beckwith (Tom) of Fredonia, KS and Rick Buchanan (Denise); his grandchildren, Zachary (Tiffany), Nicholas (Tiffany), Daniel (Leah), Thomas (Jaimee) and Christy (Preston); his great grandchildren, Abi, Emily, Reyna, Caleb, Chad, Morgan, Cameron, Breonna, Beau, Samuel, Paige and Sophy; and his siblings, Juanita Franklin (Buchanan), Maxine Hogan, Lois Buchanan, Vera Katherine, Helen Lorene and James Clifford, Jr..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home - Fredonia (420 S 20th St, Fredonia, KS 66736). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the Fredonia City Cemetery (100 N 15th St, Fredonia, KS 66736).
