She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Edward Massey and Mabel Helen Massey (Burris); her husband George Allen East (James David Morrison); her siblings, Clyde Massey (Bobbie Jo Massey), Paul Massey and Virginia Lee Reutlinger; and her nephews, Tony Earl Reutlinger, Stanley Ray Massey and Mitchell Dean Massey.
She is survived by: her sister Virginia Lee Massey; her former husband James David Morrison August; her stepchildren, David (Janie) of Independence, Roger Morrison of Galveston, Texas and Loretta Wright of Joplin, Missouri; her siblings-in-law, Raymond Reutlinger of Fredonia, Kansas and Virginia Massey of Kechi, Kansas; and her nieces and nephews, Bradley Massey (Kathy) of Wichita, Danny Reutlinger (Linda) of Owasso, Gary Reutlinger (Michele) of Fredonia, Randy Reutlinger (Rose) of Fredonia, Richard Massey (Lori) of Texas, Larry Massey (Vicki) of Derby, Brian Massey of Winfield, Teresa Chaney (Chris) of Kechi, Adrienne Massey of El Dorado and Naomi Massey of Florida. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
