She is survived by: her parents, Elmer Nix and Johnnie Nix (Gurley); her stepfather Floyd Gray of Fredonia; and her siblings, Ray Sims of Fredonia, Linda Venneman (Joe), Charles Sims of Wister, Mike Sims (April) of Aurora, Danny Sims (Judy) of Fredonia and Dennie Haynes (Ronnie) of Pampa. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
