He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Hersh and Nancy Hersh (Barks); and his siblings, Mavis Casebourn and Keith Hersh. He is survived by: his wife Gay Hersh; his children, Theresa Houser, Mark Hersh, Jeff Hersh (Cathy) and Tracy Nefzger (Paul); his sister Fern Studebaker (Ben); his grandchildren, Scott Lefferd (Rhonda), Brian Lefferd (Jamie), Isaac Houser (Jordyn), Samuel Hersh, Claire Hersh (Gerard), Luke Hersh, Jessica Nefzger, Austin Nefzger and Caleb Nefzger; and his great grandchildren, Lily Lefferd, Addie Lefferd, Sophie Lefferd, Ezra Lefferd, Ruby Lefferd, Abram Lefferd, Cora Lefferd and Waylon Houser. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Kenneth's name to the Keith Hersh Memorial Scholarship, Neodesha High School and they may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
