He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Relph and Geneva Relph (Ross); his son Joseph Stephen "Steve" Relph II; his grandson Stephen Kirk "Steve" DeBerry; his niece Geneva Bauman; and his sons-in-law, Roger Gross and James Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Parsons; his children, Mina DeBerry of Fredonia, Patricia Relph-Gross of Fayetteville, Ross Relph (Josie) of Lenexa, Virginia Relph of Fredonia and Meredith Odell (Phillip) of Fredonia; his grandchildren, Elizabeth DeBerry of San Francisco, Calif, Rebecca Relph of Overland Park, Emily Relph of Overland Park, Jillian Cabrera (Johnson) of Wichita, Stephanie Wilson of Independence and Kimberly Gross Pennell of Fayetteville, Ark.; his great grandchild Giovanni Cabrera of Wichita; his nieces and nephews, Tom Relph of Dell City, Okla, John Relph of Fredonia, Joe Relph of Altoona, David Relph of Altoona, Mark Relph, Daniel Relph, Michael Relph, Phillip Relph, Richard Relph, Gene Ellen Wiles, Rosalind Meyer, Mary Montgomery and Pamela Slauenwhite; his sister-in-law Claudine Relph; and his brothers, Ross Relph, Gene Relph, Kenneth Relph, Frank Relph and William Relph. He is also survived by grandnieces and –nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Steve Relph Memorial Scholarship at Fredonia High School or to the Old Iron Club, and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
