It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Shell Sr. (Fredonia, Kansas), who passed away on September 1, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wives, Louise Shell (McAdoo) and Charlotte Smith (Camp); his grandson Cordell Frazier; and his sister Mavis Troutman. He is survived by: his parents, John J. and Kathryn Shell (Fellers); his children, John W. Shell, Jr of Wichita, Jeffrey Shell (Jessie Frisbie) of El Dorado and Cathleen Frazier of Wichita; his grandsons, Jason Shell and Treyston Frazier; and his sisters, Elaine Shell of Rose Hill, Joyce Peden of Wichita and Linda Poulter of El Dorado.
