He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Joseph and Lula Studebaker, Sr. (Waas); his siblings, Calvin, Cavin Studebaker and Barbara Tharp; and his son-in-law Doug Timmons.

He is survived by: his wife Doris; and his children, Gyla McVey (Jim), Karen Jones (Pete), Carl Studebaker and Nancy Timmons of Fredonia, KS. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
