He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Parsons and Marian Parsons; his siblings, Shirley Zais and Dale; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Parsons.
He is survived by: his former wife Wanda; his son Hank; his wife Jean; his brother Wayne Parsons (Jean Parsons); his daughter Susan Parsons Klein; his granddaughters, Ashley and NIkki Roediger; his son Joseph Parsons; his grandson Zachary; his son Gary Halverson (Susan); his grandsons, Kevin, Michael, Hank Halverson (Gena) and Matthew; his nephew Richard Zais (Tammy); his nieces, Kathleen West and Marilyn Brandler (Bruce); and his cousin Sharon Van Bebber. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless close friends.
Donations and memorial gifts in Gary's name may be made to the Moline United Methodist Church and/or The Howard Senior Center, and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
