He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren William and Frankie Shay (Parks); his siblings, Bud Shay, George Shay, Murdene Weatherby, Isabel White and Minnie Shay; and his grandson Dalton Hyler.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his daughters, Betsy Hebb, Dave Henry of Moline and Heather Hyler (Rodney) of Buxton, KS; and his siblings, Bob Shay, Nellie Claibourn of Fredonia and Linda Crain (Tom) of Fredonia.
