She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Green and Agnes Marie Green (Steele); her siblings, Clifford, Eugene, Larry and Margaret Russell; her granddaughter Amanda McMurray; and her great grandchild Johannah McMurray.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Varner; her children, Robert Varner (Marilyn) of Rose Hill, KS, Richard Varner (Bev) of Denison, KS, Nancy McMurray (Robert) of St and Roy Varner (Robin) of Benedict, KS; her sister Mary Ann Larkin of Chanute, KS; and her sister-in-law Betty Green of Chanute, KS.. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Faith Bible Church, Chanute, KS, Bible Impact Ministries, St. James, MO, or NMRMC Horizon Hospice, and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
