He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Ward and Margaret Ward (Butner); his wife Judy Ward (Fester); and his daughter Diana Marie. He is survived by: his children, Debra Chapman (Greg) of Goliad, Texas, Doug Ward (Nancy) of Galva, Kansas, Chuck Ward (Juli) of Fredonia, Kansas and Karen Smith (Tim) of Larned, Kansas; and his sisters, Thelma Hise (Dwight) of Topeka and Doris Claiborne of Fredonia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Old Iron Club and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
