It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gale Arthur Shelton (Franklin, Kansas), born in Centerville, Kansas, who passed away on October 28, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Emmett and Blanch Gertrude Shelton (Howard); his daughter Shirley Ann; his sisters, Leah and Helen; and his granddaughters, Tina Daniels and Ashley Daniels.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Mickelson (John) of San Pedro, CA, Gale Shelton, Jr. (Edie) of Oklahoma City, OK, Janet Akins of Hutchinson, KS, Jane Shelton of Topeka, KS and Steve Shelton (Jennifer Crosby) of Raytown, MO; his adoptive son Michael Shelton of Little Rock, AR; and his sister Louise Ratliff of Ottawa, KS. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 10 step great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
