He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Rich "Dick" and Nellie Fairchild (Hidy); his wife Beverlee; his stepgranddaughter Robin Brunk; and his siblings, Oliver Fairchild, Wayne Fairchild, Lyle Fairchild, Billy Mark Fairchild, Larry Fairchild, Ronnie Fairchild, Mildred Pearson, Helen Paden, Lois Iseman and Irene Joyce.
He is survived by: his pet Max; his brothers, Robert Fairchild, Johnny Fairchild and Jim Fairchild (Paula); his sisters-in-law, Betty Fairchild and Jolene Fairchild; his stepdaughter Rexene Brunk; and his stepgrandson Bryan Brunk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
