Gene R. Wolfe Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 94, Gene R. Wolfe of Frankfort, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gene departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gene. Though Gene may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Wolfe and Alta Wolfe (Wallick); and his wife Arvila Wilcox. He is survived by: his daughter Carla Wolfe (Greg Marples) of Marysville.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Padden Funeral Chapel (101 E 3rd St, Frankfort, KS 66427). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calendar First Presbyterian Church (508 N Kansas Ave, Frankfort, KS 66427). A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later.
