He was predeceased by: his parents, Audran Spunaugle and Argie Spunaugle (Hunt); and his sisters, Shirley, Sophia and Argie "Arlene" Meagher.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Vicki Robinson (Phillip) of Salina, KS, Candace Scritchfield (Jerry) of Broomfield, CO, Jacque Griswold (Douglas) and Jodi Samuelson (Kevin); and his siblings, Elton "Tom" Spunaugle of Seward, NE and Thelma Titus of Leavenworth, KS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
