He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andrew Mayer and Maude Mayer; his wife Norma Dainty; his children, Gwen (Rick), Robert (Jeanette), Bruce (Kay) and Tracy (Rosa) of Colorado; and his stepson Steve (Karen). He was also cherished by seven grandchildren, three step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.
A memorial fund is established to Frankfort Community Care Home or a charity of the donor's choice.
