It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven Zimmerman in Fowler, Kansas, born in Spearville, Kansas, who passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Zimmerman and Dolly Zimmerman (Craighead); his son Eric Zimmerman; and his sister Connie Zimmerman. He is survived by: his former wife Cheryl Dewell; his wife Janet Zimmerman of Fort Dodge; his daughter Jennifer Lindsay (Kraig) of Bucklin; his stepdaughter Jena Johns (Steve) of Hays; his grandchildren, Jaron Lindsay and Karter Lindsay; his stepgrandchildren, Chad Lane, Alicia Davis, Michelle Lane and Brock Lane; and his siblings, Kerry Zimmerman (Linda) of Dodge City and Bonnie Golliher of Wichita. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Fort Dodge Activity Fund or Hospice of the Prairie in care of the funeral home.
