He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel F. Hayden and Rebecca Jane Hayden (Davis); his wife Alice B. Lollar; his daughter Rebecca Ruth; his siblings, Bill, Wayne (Mutt), Leo, Max, John, Raymond, Chet, George, Della and Mabel; his granddaughter Chasity Karliner; and his great great grandchild Nia Lani.
He is survived by: his children, Gay Lynne Skidmore (Dale) of Truth, Lance Hayden (Vickie) of Wichita, Theresa Graham (David) of Sherman, Sam Hayden (Kim) of Ulysses, Debra Foster (Boyd) of Fowler and Janet Welker (Eric) of Meade; his niece Brenda Grooms of Liberty; his nephew Samuel Lollar of Sullivan; his sister Dorothy Middleton of Star City, Arkansas; and his great grandchild Boogie. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren.
