He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Englund and Gertrude Englund; his wife Ruth Durand; his children, Clarke Englund (Judy) of New Braunfels, David Englund (Patty) of Nassau, Kirk Englund (Kathy) of Brookfield and Arlene Weber (Doug) of Fowler, Kansas; and his sisters, Barbara Richardson of Kansas City and Trudy Nordling of Chicago, Illinois. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.

The family would welcome memorials to Hospice of the Prairie in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.
